The Intel Core i7 corner of the Intel booth at CES was pretty impressive, apparently the entire display is being driven by a Core i7 and its built in graphics capability. It is a quad-core chip with integrated graphics processing. The speed and responsiveness of the multi-display interactive visualization was pretty impressive. Check it out below.
I am pretty sure my next PC will have a Core i7 in it. My workhorse PC laptop has recently become a desktop as its display no longer folds down. I am eyeing the new Sony Vaio F series laptop (not out yet but we saw it inaction at CES) which will be running an Intel Core i7.
In a year or so phones will have these things in them.
