Sketch of Aung San Suu Kyi – Free Burma

Aung San Suu Kyi has spent much of the past few decades as a political prisoner fighting for human rights and against military atrocities from behind bars.
She is now free and campaigning for a parliament seat in Burma. Burma is primarily controlled by the military but has an elected parliament. Just the other day she leaked one of her campaign speeches on youtube and you can hear it with the english translation at the BBC link below.
Suu Kyi’s story is inspirational and worth researching online. The atrocities that have been happening to ethnic minorities in Burma for the past several decades are disturbing.
