Myspace Picks
I been on myspace for a while as 7vials for my older industrial metal project "7 Vials of the Apocalypse". I have been getting some traffic lately and it seems like every other week or so I get added to a pretty cool bands friend list. Needless to say if you listen to music and you are not familiar with myspace you should be.

So I am going to post links to the best of the best underground music on myspace here as I find them, or they find me.

Femme Fatality
Electro industrial EBM Synthpop -- Fans of Fischerspooner will like these guys from St.Louis MO. They have clever catchy electronic synthpop tunes with nice vocals, good party music.
Femme Fatality

Hyena
Industrial Metal--Fans of Ministry and Rob Zombie will like this duo from Hamberg Germany. They joined Myspace yesterday and for some reason unknown emailed me today. I was very impressed with their stuff although they could benefit some from some better mastering. They describe themselves as "A NOISY, GIBBERING STEW OF TRIPPY BEATS, BIZARRE SAMPLES AND GRINDING SLUDGE ROCK GUITARS YOU CAN BANG YOUR HEAD TO." And thats pretty much totally accurate.

Stolen Keys Mp3

Ropelab
Stolen Keys(6.8 mb) An oldie but goodie, Ropelab is my old project with Dj Mark Rinewalt and Yoshi Suzuki. This song fuses garage beats and bass with piano and cut up beats. This one also has a pretty mixable intro and outro for DJs. I plan to re-post the pre-2000 Ropelabmaterial (with Bobby Maloney) soon.

Shockwave Arcade added to site
I have added a Shockwave Arcade to my site. The arcade games features several games I made myself while working at Blockdot or contracting for them. It also features several additional games. All the games are free and are tied in to the Kewlbox score boards and community.

Flowers and Stars Screensaver

The Flowers and Stars Screensaver is an animated algorithmic artwork that has been converted to a screensaver. The program dynamically designs an endless variety of cool algorithmic art with a flower and star motif.

The image (above) from a higher resolution version of this screensaver is available as a fine art print for your wall. To see all available prints or buy one check out the Flowers and Stars Giclee Print gallery.

New Abstract Geometric Art
Geometric Algorithmic art
Cityscapes with Ladders and Helipads Abstract Geometric Art
Cityscapes with Ladders and Helipads(requires shockwave plug-in 123k) is a new Hilbert curve based prototype that generates abstract geometric art.

It is part of a series of modified space filling algorithms that generate abstract geometric art.

The output of the algorithm is starting to look like a city from above so I decided to name it accordingly.

I am focusing on colors right now and doing experiments with different color combinations and geometric patterns with both similar and complimentary colors.

Once again, this version is just a temporal prototype. The print version will be the final, the print version is bigger, more detailed and tighter.

Society Breakdown mp3

Society Breakdown (remastered noise mix)(8.2mb)

Society Breakdown (7.4mb)
In the wake of the utter disorder and chaos in New Orleans this track is eerily appropriate. It contains samples from a 50's era twilight zone radio broadcast about aliens who infiltrate and cause distrust and disorder among the masses while they sit back and watch humanity destroy itself.
