Camera Toss Flags by Shane English
I was chatting with a colleague at work this week and we were discussing a certain glow trail effect that we have been seeing in advertisements recently. I was surprised that he had not heard of camera tossing. So I told him to hit up flickr and check it out.

Camera tossing is exactly what it sounds like. You set the shutter speed really low and and toss it up in the air or to a friend who hopefully will catch it. Typically the best images come out in low light conditions and usually involve led lights, tvs or lcd monitors used to paint the streaks of light into the image.

I had not seen Shanes work before and I was very impressed. He built a custom light box with colored gels set up like flags to create these fantastic images.
